Abstract |

|
A new distributional data for nine species of Tephritidae are presented. Aciura coryli (Rossi, 1794) is confirmed for the Czech Republic (Moravia) after nearly one century and also presented as a new species for Bohemia. The records of Campiglossa solidaginis (White, 1986), Cornutrypeta spinifrons (Schroeder, 1913) and Cornutrypeta superciliata (Frey, 1935 ) are the first for the Czech Republic. Campiglossa difficilis (Hendel, 1927) and Trupanea amoena (Frauenfeld, 1857) are referred as new species for the first time recorded in Bohemia while Campiglossa misella (Loew, 1869) and Tephritis mutabilis Merz, 1992 are new for Moravia. The record of Chaetorellia acrolophi White et Marcquart, 1989 is the first for Slovakia. |

During the examination of the material of Tephritidae deposited in the collections of the first and second authors and the National Museum, Prague, new faunistic records for the territories of the Czech Republic and Slovakia have been revealed: Aciura coryli (Rossi, 1794) – Fig. 1 Czech Republic: Bohemia mer., Temelín (6852), 49°11´00´´N, 14°23´00´´E, 510 m a.s.l., atomic power station, wetland, Malaise trap, 21.5.–24.6.2007, 1♀, J. Farkač leg., M. Barták coll., B. Merz det.; Moravia bor., Beskydy Mts, Morávka (6377c), 49°36´42,56´´N, 18°30´01,66´´E, 430 m a.s.l., valley of Vysutý brook, resting on the wall, 3.11.2007, 1♂, M. Deml observ., P. Heřman det., B. Merz revid. (both based on photographs). A Palaearctic species, very rare in Central Europe. Except Austria and Hungary there is only an old record from Moravia (Czižek 1910). But the documentary material is probably missing and therefore the species was not mentioned in both last versions of the Czech and Slovak checklist (Kinkorová 1997, 2006). The occurrence in Moravia is confirmed after a long time and the species is also new for Bohemia.

Merz det. This Palaearctic species occurs preferentially at higher altitudes. In the Czech Republic previously known only from Moravia. A new species for Bohemia. Campiglossa misella (Loew, 1869)

residual Locally common Palaearctic and Oriental species. In the Czech Republic it is known from Bohemia. This record from Moravia was already published previously (Kinkorová et al. 2005), however, not recognized as first record and, therefore, the number of specimens was not indicated. The first fully documented record for Moravia. Chaetorellia acrolophi White & Marcquart, 1989 Slovakia occ., Hlohovec (7572), 12.8.1989, 1♀, Z. Málek leg., M. Barták coll., B. Merz det.
A local species with Holarctic
distribution. In central parts of Europe previously known from
Austria,
Cornutrypeta spinifrons
(Schroeder, 1913) An uncommon Palaearctic species. In Central Europe it is present in Austria, Germany, Poland, Slovakia and Switzerland. A new species for the Czech Republic. Cornutrypeta superciliata (Frey, 1935) Czech Republic: Bohemia occ., Šumava Mts, Nová Hůrka (6845), 49°09´21´´N, 13°20´00´´E, 880 m a.s.l., spruce forest, Malaise trap, 24.6.–28.7.2000, 1♂, M. Barták leg. et coll., B. Merz det.. So far only known from Scandinavia and northern parts of Russia this species is here recorded for the first time from Central Europe. At the same time it is the first record for the Czech Republic. Tephritis mutabilis Merz, 1992 Czech Republic: Moravia bor., Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mts, Lysá hora (6476), 49°32´46´´N, 18°26´53´´E, hilltop, alpine meadow, 1323 m a.s.l., Malaise trap, 29.7.–27.8.2004, 1♀, M. Barták leg. et coll., B. Merz det. This overlooked Palaearctic species is known in the Czech Republic from Bohemia. The first record for Moravia is presented. Trupanea amoena (Frauenfeld, 1857)
